L3710 tire size

Just purchased a L3710 wtht 300 hours on it, from a dealer. It came with a new warrantee. I ordered a FEL, Post Hole digger, snow blower and industrial tires. The tractor arrived with 420/70-24 tires (used on the 3010) instead of the 17.5L-24 tires specified for the L3710 and4310.
How much difference is there it the two tires? The dealer says little and does not want to change them out.

Check out http://www.firestoneag.com/tiredata/ag/rear_tractor/rtr_atu.asp there's a significant difference in these 2 tire sizes. Sounds like an issue to pursue with your dealer. I wouldn't use 4wd unless the without the correct tires. ....
